Talk to your functional medicine doc about your stress and tiredness and they’ll likely grill you on your Oura ring scores and your microbiome.

Talk to your therapist (or workshop facilitator) and they’ll inquire about your attachment style or unprocessed trauma.

Talk to a minister (or guru!) and they’ll encourage you to “let go and let God” take the wheel of your life.

Each will be absolutely certain that their suggestions will fix what’s ailing you–from fatigue and overwhelm, all the way to deep grief or loneliness.

And the rest of us?

We’re left having to sort through all this conflicting confounding advice to stitch together piecemeal solutions.

That takes a lot of time, money and mental bandwidth to figure out by ourselves. And it rarely results in an approach to life that’s truly elegant, evidence based, and functional.

Each week, Jamie will deliver a live lecture sharing the latest interdisciplinary research and applied findings from neuroscience, performance athletics and neuroanthropology. They’ll be unfiltered briefings that provide a rigorous and tested synthesis of what often gets called “the body, mind, spirit divide.”

Movement–Kickoff the Week Right
Range of movement, whole body strength and core mobility — recalibrating the whole system for the week ahead. Think of this as your “Jail Cell Workout” that you can do anywhere, anytime with no equipment.

Tuesday Boat Teams–Grapple with the Big Ideas
Led by a Flow Genome certified guide. Small-group meaning-making and practice. Deep questions, fun exercises, and the time and trust to really explore and refine your own thinking.

You’ll take the content you learned in the previous week’s seminar and unpack all the implications and applications to your own life.
Hump Day Booster Pack
It’s Hump Day, we get it. But rather than reaching for afternoon coffee or a fistful of candy to get you over it, block out half an hour to learn the best Active Recovery protocol out there: FSDR Flow-state Deep Rest: breath, music, somatic release and recovery.

Thursday Seminars–Deep Dives with Jamie
This here’s the intellectual backbone of the program—where we offer conceptual clarity, developmental models, and high-signal thinking. If you watched Dead Poets Society, but then got sad you never had a class like that. This is your class like that.

We won’t make you memorize poems or hop up on desks, but we will explore wide ranging themes, live and without a net. For your inspiration and edification.
Vital Breathwork
Breathing has become all the rage. But most folks are repping knockoffs of knockoffs of copies of what actually works. Learn the protocol (and the science) beyond the whole spectrum of breathwork practice from the team that literally wrote the book on respiration (actually it was a chapter, because we had other topics to cover too).

A great way to close the week while learning a foundational practice that you can stack a bunch of other more psychoactive elements on top of–later, on your own time ;)
Sunday Gospel Brunch
Here we’ll do our best to invoke Church (not the place with the steeple but the space with the people). Ninety minutes to lay our burdens down and exhale. Three songs of gospel karaoke, interspersed with a twenty minute TED talk on a seasonal verse, followed by a brunchy breakfast and Jefferson style table conversation on the theme of the week. Dead simple. “Communitas” without the Cringe (And it’s a brunch cuz we all gotta eat).
Grief Café
Into every life a little (or a lot of) rain must fall. Been there ourselves. But Grief, as Martin Prechtel reminds us, “is Praise, it is the way love honors what it misses.”

Come for an informal Flow Genome version of what’s become an international movement of Grief Cafes. Honest, grounded and heartfelt conversation, without slipping into therapytalk. No advice. No “shrinking.” Just speaking and listening. #problemshareproblemhalved

Humans 2.0 Curriculum: What's Inside?

This course is broken into three phases that integrate the whole human project into one coherent approach–mapping ancient traditions with modern science...

Over the course of a month and half, we’ll break down these topics into distinct modules. They’ll all build on each other to lead to the potential conclusion––You upgraded to Human 2.0.
Phase One: Train Your Brain to Find Your Mind

Week 1: Unlock Vitality and Attention
Learn the architecture of energy, attention, and recovery. Build baseline protocols for shifting your state. Hedonic Engineering is the name of the practice. Hedonic Calendaring is the implementation plan. Transitioning from 21st Century Normal (tired, wired and stressed) to a more awake and aware human is the name of the game!
Week 2: Design Your Optimal Life
Designing your weeks, months, and years for deep work, deep rest, and deep play. Breath, movement, interoception. If we leave our lives to chance, then we get erratic results. If we bake in novelty, adventure, passion, recovery and consistency? (plus gut-check abstinence so we don’t overcook it?) Well that’s a much tastier cake!

Neuropsychology: The Operating System of an Upgraded Self
Week 3: Reverse Engineer Your State of Mind
We’ve all been trained to locate our sense of self and how we feel right behind our eyes–in the Storytelling Monkey section of our brains. And then we spend a chunk of our time wondering about, obsessing over and trying to change those stories from Anxious, Stressed, Scared to Calm, Happy, Brave (or some other sunnier location). But the reality is we can now reverse engineer our states of being by tinkering with basic body-brain inputs. Learn the knobs and levers that make you tick. Try a few experiments that light you up.
Week 4: Upgrade Your Human OS
We’re all finding that 20th century models of self and identity aren’t a match for our extremely online, AI modulated, Late Stage Everything lives. But they don’t even match the science anymore. Get a fresh update on what it means to be a person, and what it means to be human. Updated maps don’t replace the territory we still have to cover. But they absolutely help us from staying lost. Reconceive of yourself in entirely new ways that take the load off our monkey minds and give us access to more expansive and resilient ways of being.

Week 5: Die Before You Die
Before we formally published this research we took it to two top Stanford neuroscientists, a famed Harvard anthropologist, and Columbia’s top Tibetan scholar and asked them “does this seem to capture the science underneath Death/Rebirth initiation rituals across cultures?” Their answers amounted to a resounding “holy shit!” and “hell yes!” (we’re paraphrasing, but the gist was overwhelmingly positive). Learn how to take the notion of “dying before you die” from mystical metaphor to practical protocol. It’s a key step in alleviating stress, metabolizing trauma, and activating awe–all on the way to becoming a Twice Born Human. AKA, Human 2.0.
Week 6: Demystify the Mysto
To bring it all Home–we’re going to lasso starlight and wrastle it down to solid ground. For too long glimpses of the non-ordinary veer quickly into the whacky. Here we’ll provide an update on some of the more credible working theories of information and consciousness, and (crucially) show how to navigate the Mysto without getting lost. Think of it as a Rational Mysticism– orienteering instructions for navigating in four dimensions.

We've dedicated our entire careers to answering the questions: Where Do We Come From, What's Going On and What Do We Do Now?

That inquiry led to 25 years of academic study, adventure guiding, and tracking civilizational trends. Along the way we’ve advised everyone from Fortune 100 CEOs, to three letter government agencies, to royal families and major media companies. 

That led us to the center of the human performance movement. Training Google, SEAL Teams, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, and other elite orgs on how to maximize focus, performance and flow.

It’s been a wild and interesting adventure, to say the least (and none of it has ended up on Instagram).

But our real passion is and has always been growing better humans. We designed and built a Montessori school for our own children, and have advised educators from around the world, from kindergartens to top ranked business schools.

We’ve led college students to Camp Three on the North Face of Mount Everest, and taken Young Presidents’ Organization CEOs into the Grand Canyon to play war games.

From students aged 3 to age 70, we’ve dedicated our careers to learning and teaching, training and growing.

Humans 2.0 is the distillation of that entire journey. 

It’s a dojo and a lighthouse––a place to train our games, and a beacon to help navigate stormy seas.

How is this different from other FGP trainings?
Unlike some of our courses over the past five years, this program isn’t about the state of the world or even the organization you lead. It’s all about You. How to feel better, live better and serve better. It synthesizes actionable content from our bestselling books Stealing Fire and Recapture the Rapture, draws from our global community of Homegrown Humans, and unpacks Hedonic Engineering into a single, practical curriculum.
Why do you interview participants?
To ensure the right cultural fit, psychological readiness, and group coherence. We discourage fundamentalists of any stripe (from diets to workouts to politics to faith) and strongly encourage curious, humble, decent folks looking to find the same.
When does it start?

Are there prerequisites?
Only curiosity, competence, and willingness to engage sincerely... We try to design all our courses for motivated “Never Evers” and give you the tools and training you need from there! That said, the academic content is targeted for a smart 11th grader. Most of what we get on our social feeds these days is barely middle school level. So if you haven’t put on your thinking cap in a while, it might feel like a slight stretch–but the good kind!
